Broadcast Production Internship
Number of Positions: 2 Fall, spring, and summer semesters
Position Summary: These internships will assist the broadcast department with logging all Pacers game and production tapes, maintaining the video edit suite, video library, and tape stock and will serve as production assistant for all Pacers programming.
Hours Required: 20+ hours per week minimum. Production Associate must be available in 4 hour shifts and during some home games

What to Expect: These positions are unpaid and students must be receiving college credit. Approximately 6-8 people will be selected to come in at their own expense for the interview process 3-4 weeks prior to the start of the internship program. Finalists will be contacted by phone to schedule an interview, please indicate an accurate phone number on your resume.
Criteria & Qualifications:
1. Video production or related major or production background
2. Excellent attitude
3. Willing and able to work a flexible schedule
4. Extensive knowledge of basketball and the NBA
5. Good communication, both written and verbal
6. Knowledgeable of broadcast cameras, VCR's editing system, character generator, lighting and computers desired
Responsibilities:
1. Logging of all Pacers game and production tapes
2. Maintenance of the video edit suite, video library, and tape stock
3. Serve as production assistant for all Pacers programming including Pacers television network broadcasts, Pacers cable and Pacers full-court TV show
4. Video research
5. Script writing
6. Grip work for location shoots
