Indiana Fever Team Operations Intern Position

Start Date: End of school year (Start of Training Camp)

Number of Positions: 1

Position Summary: Interns in this area must be pursuing a degree in sports management/sports administration/exercise science/physical education, or the desire to pursue a career in the sports industry. Students must be receiving college credit for this internship. Experience working for, or playing on, a collegiate or professional athletics team is required.

Hours Required: This is a non-paid summer internship open to rising juniors and rising seniors.

What to Expect: Assist with the daily operations of the Indiana Fever, directly related to the team.

  1. Practice setup and breakdown
  2. Assisting coaches during practice by running the clock, passing and rebounding
  3. Player workouts
  4. Accommodating visiting teams during shoot-a-rounds, practices, and on game day
  5. Daily laundry for Fever and opposing teams
  6. Other duties as assigned
