New Media Intern Position
Number of Positions: 1 Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters
Position Summary: This position was developed in the Spring of 2007 to handle web and database-related projects, including the coordination of the ten electronic touch-screen kiosks located throughout Conseco Fieldhouse. These kiosks are interaction points that allow fans to participate in various contests, most of which require them to provide customer information. The intern is responsible for the entire contest, including the promotional-elements, data feeds and e-mail efforts. The New Media intern reports directly to the e-Marketing and Database Services Manager.

What to Expect: These positions are unpaid and students must be receiving college credit. Approximately 6-8 people will be selected to come in, at their own expense, for the interview process, 3-4 weeks prior to the start of the internship program. Criteria & Qualifications:
- Required technical skill sets: Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
- Preferred technical skill sets: HTML-Adobe Photoshop
- Other required skill sets: Ability to interact with fans and co-workers/comprehension of database marketing and occasional heavy-lifting
Responsibilities:
- Managing the promotional efforts for Pacers College Night
- Leveraging game-night promotional efforts to drive database growth
- Managing the day-to-day responsibilities for the touch screen kiosks
- Assist the Database Marketing Specialist with his responsibilities including e-mail marketing, database marketing and mobile marketing
