Public Information Internship-Indiana Fever
Number of Positions: 1-2 each semester (fall, spring and summer)
Position Summary: Interns in Fever Public Information will assist in game day setup of the media work room, assemble daily media clippings, assist with postgame and postpractice media interviews, write feature stories for FeverBasketball.com and assist in statistical/historical compilation of informaion.
Hours Required: 35 + hours per week

When to Apply: All interested students must have cover letter and resumes mailed to the above address six months prior to the semester they wish to do their internship.
What to Expect: These positions are unpaid and students must be receiving college credit. Finalists will be contacted by phone to schedule an interview, please indicate an accurate phone number on your resume.
Criteria & Qualifications:
1. Junior, senior or graduate-level student
2. Media/Public Relations, communicationso or journalism majors
3. Strong writing and spelling skills, interviewing experience, availability for long hours, good communications skills (verbal and written), adaptability to environment invoving several simultaeous projects
4. Computer and HTML knowledge a plus
5. Basketball knowledge a plus
6. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Responsibilities:
1. Office/administrative duties, including data entry, copying, filing, faxing, etc.
2. Assist in game-day setup of media work room
3. Assemble daily newpaper clippings
4. Write feature stories for FeverBasketball.com
5. Assist in statistical/historical compiling of information
6. Assist in obtaining post-practice and postgame media interviews
7. Assisting in other departments when needed
